Propel T-65 Wing controller keeps telling me to put in batteries?

The Propel Star Wars T-65 Wing we got it very cool but even after we put in the batteries the controller still speaks about putting in batteries in either a Yoda or C-3PO and R2D2 voice. I was wondering if there was a way to reset the controller and possibly fox this?
