Hi I’m having problems with my phone, the ghost touch and unresponsiveness have gone worse. Prior to that the earpiece really heats up it would burn my finger when I touch it even for a second. Then recently white blocks have appeared on the screen. I was told the lcd needs replacing but could there be more? Thanks!

From your description, this sounds like it has symptoms of what is regarded as “touch disease.” If it is touch disease, it is something that either Apple or someone that can Microsolder will have to repair.

what about the white blocks on the screen?
Google "touch disease iPhone 6/6Plus"...common problem with those phones. Sounds like what you're describing here.
