Why is my touchscreen popping out?

I recently cracked my phone screen so I managed to find another screen and just attached the new one. It turns on fine and the touch screen is functional. However it won’t stay completely within the frame and the right side of the phone will just completely come out of the phone only leaving half of it attached. Is there a specific adhesive I should get and how should I apply it? There are guides for replacing the screen but not for the adhesive. Is there a specific way I should apply it?

This is also my first time posting here so if I doing anything wrong, don’t be afraid to let me know. Thanks for the help.

I am having the same problem as you even though I've tried 3 different brands of double sided adhesive stuff. the edge on the right side of the phone is so narrow that there isn't much area for it to bond to.

I'll see if I can find a similar case to hold down the edge I guess, or get desperate and try superglue..

The glass is coming away from the plastic bezel because the glue is weak, that part of the screen is glued down with double sided thin tape. It would need taking off and re gluing. or you could just put a case over the whole thing that encloses the phone.

So I actually just tried out getting a case for it and i grabbed a Unicorn Beetle off amazon and it seems to work fine. Whatever lets the screen saver function when the phone is in place seems to be working fine and I can use the gestures too which I couldn't do when it was popping out so yeah a case did it. I might get the double sided tape later on in the future too but for now I'm set. Thanks for the help!
