The battery door was stuck. I manged
to coax it open after a long ordeal with a tiny screwdriver. Battery leak had damaged the terminals on the inside of that door. I cleaned them as well as I could but one of them is very badly corroded. It easily detatched fro the door but won’t fit securely back. Can I replace the door itself?

I doubt you’d be able to find parts for it. Try epoxy for structural repairs or hot glue for just keeping things in place.
Use rechargeablesifyou can. If there’s an external charging port, seal the batteries up so it doesn’t fall apart and use it as long as you can.
