Why is my phone call volume is really quite?

I recently installed a white stone dome glass screen protector and it looks like I got some of the resin glue in the earphone port on the front of the screen. Now when I talk on the phone it sounds like the person on the other end of the line is really far away. I don't know if there is an easy way to clean it out with a sharp needle or something. I would rather not take my phone apart so if someone could suggest a glue dissolver that will not hurt my phone or a way to clear out the mesh I would really appreciate it.

If you are comfortable opening a phone, you can actually remove the earspeaker on the note 8 prior to cleaning so that you dont damage it and you wont have to be as gentle with the mesh.

When you say I can remove the earspeaker prior to cleaning are you talking about the speaker grill on the front of the phone? You are saying I can remove that without opening up the phone? Is there a how to somewhere online that shows how to remove that without opening the phone?

I appreciate the response by the way.

Sorry if i gave you false hope, you definately have to open the phone. I'm refering to the speaker being removable, I don't know about the mesh. I'll be sure to get back to you if I get the opportunity to see about removing the mesh.

I found another forum somewhere that fixed my problem. At least it seams like it fixed it for now. I just hope it didn't do any damage to my phone that I don't know about yet. It said to use some kind of glue disolver on the speaker mesh. I used goo gone on a Q tip and rubbed it for a little, then used a tooth brush to get the bristles of the brush into the holes of the mesh. The broke up all the glue really well. I also mixed in using rubbing alcohol every so often to dry up any of the goo gone that got past the speaker mesh and was sitting in my phone. I tried not to let the goo gone sit on my phone for too long. The goo gone worked great and my speaker sounds a lot better now. I just hope the goo gone didn't do any damage to the speaker. Only time will tell.
