Return to home is no longer working after sealing replacement screen.

Hello all,

I've got an iPad pro 12.9 1st gen that I've completed an LCD replacement on, and the return to home functionality is no longer working after I sealed the screen. I tested full functionality before laying it down, and it was working then, but once I sealed the screen into the adhesive, return to home ceased to function. Touch ID still works, and everything else on the iPad is fully functional. I'm wondering if it could possibly be some sort of short issue, or if I may have damaged the flex somehow when sealing it? I'm reluctant to open it back up for fear of causing damage to the glass/LCD, and wanted to see if anyone else has run into this issue or has any ideas before I dive back into it.
