Printer stops halfway through jobs? Especially pdf's
My HP OfficeJet Pro printer often pauses and then stops partway through jobs, especially pdf files. Can you help?

This is mostly a spooler problem..
you can try uninstalling the printer drivers then reinstall it

Have you tried printing from another pc? Does it make copies fine? You may just need to reinstall the printer drivers on your computer.

It's likely fixed as much as software can fix it.
The printer may not like printing forty page documents all at once.
The printer may not like the content within the document.
Try printing the document - just that one "problem" page (if you know the page number).
Convert to PDF > Open in SwifDoo PDF > Print
Print 1/2 the document at one time (page range 1-5, then separate job page range 5-10)
