I have damaged my SIM card slot, can it be repaired please?

Hi I stupidly tried to take out a SIM card, without wearing my glasses!! Hence I have bent the metal holder for the SIM. It's beyond repair and I can't get the SIM to stay in place. Is there anything I can do please?
