Is there a way to make my manual hydraulic back door lift stay open on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport?

Hi Rhonda,
Your Hyundai probably has worn struts which would require replacement. Depending on how comfortable you are with repairs, this is not a difficult task. You can find replacement parts with a search, and here is a Youtube video showing how to replace struts.
