I am replacing my front glass and back glass and before I attached either screen, I hooked up the display to see if it worked and the phone will turn on but the display wont work? ive hooked up everything on the motherboard besides the fingerprint sensor. what could I have done please help.

First put back the original screen to see if you see anything.
If the original screen is showing you data then your replacement screen Is malfunctioning.

its the same old screen, I just put new glass in and the display has a little tear in it??? that might be it
and the layer between the glass and the copper piece was stuck to the old glass and messed up so I just ordered a new copper piece and screen
if the display has a tear in it. Look no furhter.
you need to replace it.
