Can you perform the following checks for me?:
Does the TV show any image when you turn it on, like a flash or the LG screen?
Can you try shining a flashlight on the TV when it's on to see if the screen is just really dim?
One quick potential fix would be to reset the TV to factory settings. Let me know what happens
