I’m doing some expirement on a dead iPhone 5s that missing the home button.
I wanna see if it gets in DFU mode and asking if I can get a home button by shortcut any pins on the connector?

I think it would be easier to use software that's available out there to put the phone into DFU. Unfortunately I don't have access to my computer that has the pin layout anymore or I'd just give em to you, but that's something to consider.

But How should the computer communicate with the phone if it doesn’t recognize it’s connected. It’s dead and doesn’t start in normal or recovery mode. So my plan is to force it into DFU with power and home button.
When you have a decent battery (even dead) and a good lightning port when you plug it in if it's not booting into DFU or just power up regularly you have other issues.
Yes, the phone doesn’t work but I think I can get the t inDFU and want to check that. I’m doing some expirement on this phone.
