I have Forgotten my new screen-Lock password Sony Xperia XZ

Hi, I have forgotten my new Password on my Sony Xperia XZ of which I regularly update for security purposes and i have locked my-self out of my own phone and have been advised to do a hard-reset on it. Can anyone help me on how to do this please?? Many Thanks.
