1 An error occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency
A friend of mine gave me a phone. S6 Edge plus. But it had some problems so we tried to hard reset it. When I boot the phone it stays on a screen saying 'An error has occured while updating the device. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software' The screen stays on for about 30 seconds and then the phone shuts down. I can only do this while the phone is connected to a charger. If it's not connected to a charger, it won't boot up. When I hold the home + power + volume down buttons it goes into ODIN mode. It has been like this since it had the FPR lock on it and we when tried to install some new software on this phone, the PC of my friend shut down. It has been doing this ever since. I tried to hold all buttons and I tried to just hold my power and home button, but none of this works since it keeps shutting down. What can I do to fix this? I tried the software, but it doesn't recognize my device.

Sorry for the quite delay for posting here at your problem / issue faced, actually you can recover from the ERROR quite simply. Just get ODIN and download your original / stock firmware from SAMSUNG and import it in the AP column of ODIN.
Just select the firmware which starts from AP (eg. AP_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
At the ERROR screen, Press Volume DOWN + MENU + POWER button to enter DOWNLOAD mode and Flash the AP file with ODIN, wait for the process to finish and voila .. your device is back alive.
In case if the problem persists, flash all the downloaded firmware :)

my samsung j6 has the same problem but its blinking the creen every 2 seconds and i cant hold power and down because it dosent activate , i tried using the ap file on odin but that isnt doing anything

Install TWRP through Odin (AP slot). Add zip custom rom to either phone or sd card by going to computer files while in twrp, and copy to phone. Force boot into TWRP using combination keys. Install OS and pray it work.
