How to remove the trigger pins holding the bracket?

Hi, first time posting.

My Xbox one trigger has broken. I've found the root cause of my problem. The Trigger bracket (not the piece you unscrew), has snapped on one side. I need to remove the metal pin/rod that holds it and the spring in place.

However, I don't know how this pin is in place or how to pull it out. There's literally nothing on the internet about these pieces.

Help is appreciated

Regards

Jonathan

Solución Elegida

I was just looking for this answer because my bumper broke and i had to order a new one and was cheaper to get an entire shell and all parts, i ended up having to snap one of the brackets because the pin is shaped like a gear and they must heat it then put it together so it makes a tight as seal, what you want to do is from the inside push that pin back out, you will need something with a fine point like a sowing needle, Just make sure you don't put the needle through your finger, or squeeze the pin between a pair of pliers and that inside bracket, Then when the thicker end of the pin is sticking out grab it with your pliers and pull it out, That should fix your pin problem mate, Hope this helps you some.

So long ago. But cheers for the reply. I might pull it back apart and have another crack at it.

Grab the tapered end and the broken bit and squeeze the pliers, this will push the pin out on the opposite end. DO NOT push from the non rounded end because that side has a slightly bigger end that will not go through

Whatdya mean push the pin out from the inside? Is this different from pushing from either side? I’m hoping I can just buy new ones, as to not damage the cover plate.

Use pliers to push the tapered end through by grabbing the tapered end on one side and the broken braket piece on the other side of the pliers
