iPhone 6s display replacement issues

Block Image

This is the second display replacement on my iPhone 6s, but this time i´m going to complete it myself.

I have a big issue, because despite my screen is cracked, it is almost separated the upper layer from the lower layer of the screen. I have uploaded two images describing the situation.

The display is not separated from the cellphone, so my big concern is that i`m not going to be able to remove the cracked screen using the tools in the kit, or even using packaging tape recommended in the comments.

Please any advice will be very useful, because i haven´t started the replacement process until i can solve the situation.

It is important to notice, that everything is working ok in the cell Phone, but the state of the display is worse everyday, because pieces are falling day after day.

Thanks in advance.

It's very easy, remove the 2 screws located at the bottom of your phone besides your charging port

From there with your tools available, separate the frame from the phone carefully, watch a video on YouTube to see how they remove a screen and try to follow the same process

Your phone popping out is just the display separating from the frame

Update (01/06/2018)

Okay I see, it's very Simple. get something sharp, like a razor blade

Try to get it in between the frame of the screen and the phone and from there don't pry it up but simply drag it across all the edges of the phone in order to remove the adhesive holding down the frame, once you remove the adhevsive or at the very least separate it, get your plastic pry tool and pop up the frame

Thanks Oscar for your kind help and time, i´ve seen the videos you mention in Youtube, and they deal with cracked screens that are firm attached to the iPhone frame. But in my case for example i won´t be able to use the suction handle, because the screen is cracked (that can be fixed with tape), but the display is popping out. Then i won`t be able to pull it as the repair guide shows. I would have to use the spudger and force it out, and i have a bit of stress of break something.

I use a razor blade on bottom and sides only to separate adhesive and push the screen up I do this on every iPhone screen replacement. Don't forget to remove the two pentalobe screws on the bottom first of course.

If the two bottom screws keep spinning it means that the posts have ripped off from the screen frame which will allow you to popup the screen.
