Why is my viewfinder& lcd screen blank when turned on?

My camera powers on with a full battery charge but the view & lcd screen is blank! I can go to my photos & see them on the viewfinder & lcd screen perfectly! All the other buttons work fine! I have reset the camera & changed on the battery several times but nothing helps!!

Hi,

Try taking a picture (I realize that you cannot "see'"what you are taking) and then download it to a pc to see whether you have a picture or just a black image.
