WiFi instead of wlan
My phone's setting for wireless networks is set on wlan, not WiFi. How do I change it to WiFi ?

Hi!
There is no difference between the two terms, WLAN stands for wireless local area network, which is the same as Wi-Fi. You have nothing to worry about.
