Where can I send my daughters leap pad to be repaired?

My daughters leap pad explorer 2 doesn't work anymore. Is says it doesn't have a battery when it actually does. Is there a place that does this kind of repairs? She really loves it and enjoyed playing with it a lot. We really don't know where to turn to.

Thank you so very much, Michelle and Eryn Rose Angelle

This thing costs $40. I don't know of any techs who work for $40 per hour, so sending it in is really not an option.

Try replacing the batteries, or if that doesn't work, something is wrong with some of the drivers (link to definition). Ask a professional; he can help better than I can. Microcenter is very helpful, but if there isn't one near you, look up for professional computer repair centers.

If nothing is available in your area, you could start by tearing the device apart, we have this (at Step 8) guide that you could use as reference, and check the red and black cables that go from the battery bays to the main board.

Edit - I did not type any information in the second paragraph. How did this happen?
