My console will only play non-DSP chip games

I have an old SNES and most games run fine. Super Mario Kart runs but with multiple glitches and I think the console only plays game without a DSP chip or Super FX chip.

Does anyone know what part of the console motherboard would interact with the DSP chip and could it be replaced from a donor console?
