Bootloop after LCD replacement getting very hot too

Hi all, I've ran into something that I've never had before

Long story short, I've got my customers Galaxy s5, it needed a new LCD.

Customer says the phone was still working because she was getting notifications ect.

I ordered the replacement LCD from eBay and it came with the mid frame also with instructions to change the mid frame too because the LCD is a non genuine one that won't fit the original.

I did that but it will not boot up properly.

It turns on, the galaxy s5 logo appears but then it goes off and the logo appears again.

It does boot into recovery, I've cleared the cache and rebooted it, but there's no change.

The part that concerns me most is how hot the logic board is getting.

Only thing I haven't tried is a full factory reset because the customer wants to preserve the data.

I'm stumped.

The only two things in my mind are the LCD is faulty causing the boot loop, or that I may have bent the logic board getting the mid frame seperated
