White Bright Spots On Screen.

Hello, I had my phone in my pocket, and my mom accidentally put it in the washing machine. Since then, its gotton better but there are these white light dots on the screen. They started out big but have gotten better since then. My sisters phone got wet once and got them to, but they eventually went away, mine won't. Is there a way to fix this? I think its something to do with the pixels. I lifted the glass screen protector a bit but that doesn't seem to be the cause.

Hi, the white spots indicate that the backlight sheets are water damaged. People who refurbish screens may help you. The backlight is working, only the sheets need to be replaced. I don't think that you can heat up your phone and these will disappear. If the phone will be opened by a third party your warranty will be voided and the waterprotection arround the screen edges will be damaged.

I don't know if Apple replace backlight sheets, probably they replace screens only and that would cost you a lot.

I belive the screen will remain the same. I deal with 6/6s/6+/6s+. All I know is that corrosion often appears after water damage and it's getting worse with time. It can be cleaned with 99.9% isopropanol by a professional.
