Sadly, the LCD display is damaged ;-{
Theres not much you can do here as calculators are now throw-a-ways.

The calculator is still working. I can still perform functions on it, just the dot is giving me concern..
Sorry, now nothing can be done. the LCD blackening is irreversible. :'-(

Just get a new one or get a screen replacement for that model…. It's easy to dismantle the calculator

It's very simple to repair the LCD screen. Just replace the reflector pasted behind the glass and fix it. It will work.
