Hyundai Grand i10 How do I clean AC filter?

Hyundai Grand i10 has a problem with AC (at least mine has), ac filter usually gets jammed and cooling becomes bad, I have to take it for service every couple of months.

Can someone please help me know how to do it myself, will save me lot of trouble and money.

  • open the ac air filter
  • blow presserized air on both sides
  • take a hard brush and put under low tap water flow and scrub both sides with the help of brush

* take a detergent, say a shampoo(leaves a nice fragrance) and then pour it over filter on both sides and again scrub with brush thorougly and leave it for 10 mins

  • put the filter under tap water and rub it with brush thorougly and soak dry and then place it back
