Hello, Do these replacement screen

> 27-inch LCD LM270WQ1-SDF1 PN: 661-7169 <

come with one or two connecting ribbons?

Seem that there should be two to disconnect when on takes the screen apart but when I go to order a replacement screen, seem that they come with only one ribbon.

Shouldn't there be one for the LCD and one for the Digitizer?

For this iMac

OK. FYI: When you buy the Screen assembly, it only comes with one connector cable, the one shown in this correct model screen assembly on the picture Jamie uploaded. The Ribbon cable to the new Screen Display port lcd cable, 98% of the time does not come with the new Screen you order and must be purchased separately only IF, your existing one is damaged. Ask the seller if they send it with the replacement screen so you are aware if to order one!

One more detail! You will need new mounting adhesive tape to reassemble your new Screen! You must buy a new set or ask the seller if they send an adhesive kit with the screen they are selling you!

This will save you time after your get the screen, so you don't have to wait again for just the Adhesive to arrive, to complete your installation!

If the existing Display port lcd cable on your existing screen is OK, you can just swap the old screen Display port lcd cable to the new Screen Assembly!

See This interchangeable ribbon Display port lcd cable here below!

The 2nd connector, the Display Ribbon!

Hope this saves reader's time/delays, money and troubles!

OK, thanks, that is what I have been seeing.

I suppose one has to take the Display Port Cable from the old Screen and swap it to the new one!

I was afraid in ordering because there are two ribbons to be disconnected but I guess this port ribbon is disconnected at both ends and is swap-able!

Thank you Jamie, that was a quick response!

Cheers

It is alway good to post links to your references. We have no way of knowing where that one came from, or if it is even the correct display.

Look carefully!

The image of the display unit you have in your answer has two connections. The black cable on the left is the backlight power lines not a ribbon cable. The ribbon cable is missing in this image, it connects to the top midpoint connector.

Thansk Dan for the Clarification!

i got it!

The Ribbon cable is the one that comes off both ends from the old screen and placed in the new screen!

Do I have this right now? About the reuse of the Ribbon cable one!
