Have you put water in it? Have you pushed the button for steam. When you have done this, put the so it is vertical and sitting on it's little base. Now allow it to warm up for a min it or so. Then try it. I hope it works for you.

Yes I've put water in and left it now to cool of to try again
No tried all that no joy
If you’re steam irons stopped steaming try this simple trick on the water filler cap there is a small hole if it gets blocked the steam stops unblock it and wall-a steam again

I have descaled it about 5 times but steam light staying and no steam coming out
