Error 1603 after water damage

Hello,

I am going to buy a lot of 8 iPod touch 4th gen on eBay. One of them says on a sticker restore error 1603. According to Apple, error 1603 is something to do with the computer. Can someone confirm if this is something to do with the iPod or the computer?

Hi, try reinstalling iTunes, than replacing the cable and USB port.

If none of this will help, try hard reset. The other Mac/PC is also good option to try...
