TAB 2 10.0 digitizer connector snapped

Hi,

When reparing my Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 digitizer/glass I snapped the connector a bit as seen on this pictures:

Now the touch screen doesn't respond. Is this solvable? A little rumbling/tinkling with the cable doesnt change anything.

EDIT: fixed: I bended the connector back in place and put tape on it, the tablet works perfectly now.
