My murray turns over fine but will not start its hydrostatic drive sometimes will start with hyro on and sometimes hydro off also noticed I have no.brakes

Mac Nezbed I am a bit confused by your question. It starts but the hydro static drive does not work? What do you mean by this "sometimes will start with hyro on and sometimes hydro off"? What model is your mower and what have you checked? The more information you can give us the greater your chance of getting a helpful answer.
