Touch Screen replacement not working after replacement

Hi,

I got a crack on my touchscreen and half of it stopped working. So I ordered a replacement touchscreen from eBay (Twice!) but the new screen just doesnt seem to work. But when I connect the old screen again it works fine.

My model is Transformer T100TAM, the screens I order off eBay say they support T & TA models. Can this be the issue? Is there a specific digitizer for the TAM model?

live in Sri Lanka and my options are limited. So any help would be greatly appreciated cause I'm stumped right now. Thanks in Advance.
