Touch malfunctioning with new screen

We have the same problem with my daughter's phone.

The screen was replaced by Apple themselves and did not fix the issue.

Any ideas would be welcome.

When a new screen does not fix your touch issue, then it is a board issue, and probably a touch IC issue.

This is repairable, but not a DIY job. You need to find to someone who does micro-soldering or subcontracts to a micro-solderer. You can look one up near you by following the link on my profile here on iFixit.

Try holding power button for 5 seconds with battery unplugged and screen plugged on and unplugged it may help.
