first of all next time this happens. Turn it off. Tear it apart. let everything dry for a few days, Naturally. NOT WITH A HAIRDRYER!. This might save the phone. Now what you can try is turn it off and let it dry, get a screen and do a screen replacement.

A few months ago an employee of mine came to me with his mothers phone that she dropped in the toilet. We let it dry for 2 weeks, I did a screen repair and everything works on it just fine.

As Rich's Computer said, you can send it to iPad Rehab but only for data recovery. If you replace the motherboard you will lose your photos anyhow. Your data may be saved in the cloud though. Go to www.icloud.com and sign in with your apple ID. It's worth a try.

There are a few reputable companies doing data recovery. Check out http://mendonipadrehab.com/ they are one of the true experts on the subject. Once a phone gets wet and has power put through it, its usually more expensive to try and fix it than its worth.
