3 Why does my battery die very quickly?
After charging my battery throughout the night; i begin to use the drill. After a few minutes of use the battery completely dies. What do i do?

When this problem happens it could be one of two things.
The battery may no longer be holding a charge and therefore a new battery must be used.
Another problem can be because of the battery charger. The charger may have a connection problem and thus the battery isn't being charged probably. follow our step by step guide (the guide hasn't been completed yet)

Your battery is no longer holding a charge. Meaning you needs a replacement.

Funny. I have that same drill and got it when my dad died. He had owned it forever and used it all the time.
Mine still holds a charge for a very long time but I use it a lot.
I have a B&D leaf blower that lasts about 30 seconds. I’ve tried everything, leaving it on until it’s completely drained, using it often…nothing seems to work on that one.

I have two batteries charging simultaneously on two different chargers and they both drain too quickly to finish edging my lawn. Is it time for a new trimmer. Seems unlikely both batteries are going bad at the same time. Thanks.

I have 2 black and decker cordless drill batteries I bought at the same time. I used one while the other charged and switched them next time I used it, but now one dies way too quick and its basically new compared to the original batteries . I think one of them might actually last longer, argh frustrating.
