Have red power light that won't turn green

Try following this guide to remove the faceplate from the wii. Then check that the power button is not damaged on the inside. It could be that the small plastic nub on the inside of the button that presses the switch has broken off. If this is the case, then all you will have to do is replace the faceplate.

It cold be that the little battery in the console is shorted or low. Try replacing it(btw it happened on mine and now it works afer replacing the battery) If it still doesn’t work then replace the bluetooth module and if it still doesnt work then check the power button pushy thing or the power button itself.
