What can be done to fix this?

I had dropped my 3ds from my desk (about 3-4 feet) and now the screens don't seem to work anymore. The power and charging lights still work but the Wi-Fi light doesn't work and the screens don't turn on at all, no light comes from them. I have considered opening it up, but I am not sure what I should look out for. Would it be that hard to fix for a first time opener like me?
