hundreds of shallow scratches on screen

I dropped my phone on rough cement and stepped on it and thankfully it didn't crack, but there are hundreds of ~1cm long horizontal scratches of medium depth on each edge and a few that go all the way across the screen. Since there are so many of them, I feel resistance against my finger when scrolling, but the screen works perfectly fine otherwise.

Do I need to replace my glass/digitizer or can i have them buffed out?

My phone model is the Blu Life One X 2016 (L0070UU)

Let me know if you end up replacing your screen, I cracked mine last night. I have been having trouble finding a replacement screen for the L0070UU model, probably because it is so new. Anyways if you do the repair or find the part please post about it here, interested to hear how that goes for you. Thanks.

I think this may work: http://www.bluphoneparts.com/blu-life-x-...

However, it includes the whole lcd component, which is more expensive than just the digitizer so I think I might pass.

Try this out. I have a new blu life one x, and the message boards I found led me to here. Haven't bought it yet, but may have to.
