windows 7 on MacBook starts up slow

I am running snow leopard on macbook as well as windows7 why when i start up windows 7 it starts slow but when i start leopard it starts fine just before start up 7 it has a black screen with white mark in left top corner then it starts 7? after a few minutes do you think the install was incorrect? i didn't use boot camp just put 7 disk in and it started install so it didnt ask if i wanted to use boot camp.other then that when running just fine no other problems.
