Thank you for your reply. My Apple Pro Speaker is the one come with the G4 cube, which has a translucent shell for the amp. I woul like to know the way to open the shell without damaging it.

Thanks anyway:)

Is there a identification number on it? Like an A1122 number?

for anyone else:

I just recently popped my Cube amp open as well. It seems like it's just glued shut, but it's not a chemical glue so you should be able to pop it open with minimal difficulty. I used a piece of sheet metal about the thickness of a razor blade, so a razor blade itself would probably work to open it up.

Just be careful because the bottom half has a groove that the top half actually fits into; you can't just slice a razor straight down because it will hit the bump.

Hey Josh what was your experience getting the inner shell open? I'm at that point and am concerned about damaging the plastic in the process. Any pointers? Thanks!

Just kidding. I managed to get it open easily by working a scalpel into the corner near the cords and then slid a sheet of thin metal like you mentioned slightly farther down and it came apart relatively easily. From the bottom end where the output is, I worked across and the whole thing eventually opened like a book. problem solved!
