When I go to charge my device I can plug in the charger to the port but the device does not recognize that it is being charged. Normally there is an icon that appears to indicate that the device is charging but there is nothing but a blank screen.

Chances are that the charging port has either been altered so that the charger is no longer compatible with the device or the charging cord has been compromised. You can plug it in and jimmy the charger in the port it might make the necessary connections. If this does not work the next step would be to try another charging cord to see if that fixes the problem. If the device is still not working, the charging port might need to be replaced.

This has been a problem of mine from the start. I've changed over to the USB port and finally I changed the block. It now will charge. I've also found it will just restart at will. I have no idea idea why. Any answers would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem. This tablet is a peace of garbage. I would never commend Hip Street to anyone. You can not even get anyone to help you on the web site. As far as I can tell they just don't care about there customers.

I bought a Hipsteet google play tablet on Shopping channel. Lost my charger and trying to find where I can purchase a charger for my tablet
