Hi,

Ensure that your charger is 5V 2A (2000mA) output. Phone chargers may not supply enough current.

If using correct output value charger and battery drained sign still there, Press the Reset button behind the micro SD card slot cover, Hopefully it will then start to charge.

Allow tab to fully charge before turning on, then long-press the power key for over 10 seconds to restart

Hi,

Check the charge port with a strong light and a magnifying glass to ensure that all the pins are there, that they are straight and parallel with each other and that the port enclosure is free from dust and lint.

If there is lint trapped in the port, use a vacuum cleaner to try and suck it out. Do not use a metal probe. If necessary, use a wooden toothpick to 'gently' try to remove it.

If it looks OK, try the following:

Take the tablet end of the charge cable and plug it into the tablet. DO NOT connect the other end of the cable to anything.

Then holding the tablet firmly, grab hold of the plug which is inserted into the charge port and try to gently, stress gently move it from side to side or up and down to check if you can feel any movement at all in the USB connector.

If you can detect movement, then the USB connector may have become disconnected from the systemboard.

Here is a link to the ifixit USB replacement guide which may be of some help.
