trying to install windows 8.1, optical drive won't load cd

Windows 8.1 never came with CD, its come with DVD format and DV6000 having DVD reader,
if your optical drive not recognized the DVD, just Eject DVD tray and clean the optical lens on your DVD drive with carefully (use Micro-Fiber cloth for cleaning)
it should work if DVD in order
also you can use USB flash drive as a bootable
