Do we actually need gloves to repair iPhones, or use bare hands
We use bare hands or anti static or rubber gloves
Es esta una buena pregunta?

Marques Keby, for as long as you do not run your fingers all over the board and protect your board from ESD you are fine without gloves.

Should be fine. Unless you're a greasy Italian like me, grinding out repair after repair all day. Ha

"anti-static rubber gloves" haha who comes up with this stuff? Other than the people selling it...
If you've got a static safe work area you'll be fine. I only wear gloves when I'm dealing with something I don't want finger prints on, like an ipad lcd.
Just don't be wearing a wool sweater or something stupid working on phones and you'll be fine. Personally, I wear only cotton clothes (no polyester) and leather soled shoes to work for "static safety" Mostly though, its an excuse to my boss to wear blue jeans and boots every day instead of slacks like I was told to.

I tried my first iPhone repair yesterday. It was a simple back glass replacement of an iPhone 11. Well apparently chipping off all that glass using X-acto knives is somewhat dangerous lol. I cut and gashed my hand about 4 times, 2 of them rather seriously. So now I’m on the hunt for a pair of good cut/puncture resistant gloves, but haven’t found anything yet. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
