iPhone 5C screen not turning on after water damage and battery replace
So my grandpa dropped his iPhone 5C in some water and I had him turn it off and put in rice for a while.. The first attempt to turn on just got a slightly flickering apple logo and thats it. So I almost completely disassembled it and I tried cleaning it with some 91% iso alcohol. There was only a couple small areas of visible brownish corrosion like near the battery connector although the alcohol didn't seem to really remove it. I also replaced the battery. After this I have not been able to get the screen to come on. The phone itself is on because it makes a sound when plugging in a charger and registers in iTunes. It asks me to respond "trust" on the iPhone in order to access data in iTunes which I can not do without a functional display. It also will register if I put it in recovery mode. But I do not want to restore in recovery mode if possible so I do not lose all the data. Any ideas why the display won't come on? I have tried hard/soft resetting etc. I have tried reconnecting the display flex cables a few times. Is there any way to access the data on the iPhone and get it to backup in iTunes? I feel like I am so close to having it functioning again. Any help would be appreciated!
Update
Everything works except the screen is black. It responds to touch and Siri works! I just can't see anything
Does anyone know which flex cable is for the display and backlight?
Es esta una buena pregunta?
