Will a boardswap fix my eFuse brick?

Hi,

I managed to be a huge turd, and eFuse (hard)brick my kindle fire.. Since warranty is gone, i am hoping a new motherboard will do the trick. Does the motherboard carry al the os data?

Do you think it will work, i'd like to hear your input!.
