I just did factory restor in my samsung galaxy s2 and i cant change language it keep on showing symbols
Also in the language option i cant find ENGLISH

1. From the main (standby or idle) screen, select to access Applications.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Language and keyboard.
4. Choose Select Language.
5. Select required language from the list.
Note: Samsung smartphones and tablets are manufactured with a selection of languages specific to the locale in which they were made to be sold. If the language you want isn't available you may be able to find an app in the Google Play store that can install it to your device. from here
