Ps3 CECH 3002B blu ray drive wont accept disks or read them.

My Ps3 has stopped taking any disks, they arent sucked in no matter how far i push them in and they don't eject either only by hard eject (eject button hold).

I have the ps3 in pieces trying to repair it but to an untrained eye everything looks fine inside. If i manually insert the disk and power the feed motor with a battery the disk is locked into reading position but it still doesn't spin and the laser doesn't turn on.

It does however turn the ps3 on when i insert a disk into the drive but still no taking of the disk.
