Dont charge or Connect to itunes

Hi i bought an uses iPhone 3G to try to repair it..

The problem is that iPhone don't charges batery and don't connect to iTunes... When I plug the cable it don't respond but if I have the iPhone connected foro a lona time it charges ( but don't appear the charging logo)

I opened it and changad the connector Dock but it is the same problem now... I check that the borrad had manipulated before..

so my question is if anybody know some pinout of the 4th connector or what pins does charge according to try to fix it... Or anybody know wat can be my problem

If you´ve been using the same cable then that´s you´re problem, you got a bad cable.

haha I was just looking into that. So jailbreakme can jailbreak my phone without connecting to my computer? Can u restore your Iphone through the wifi sync? I'll start looking into it, Thank You for responding!!

arg i got version 4.02 so i cant use jailbreakme :( o well at least i can charge phone. It doesnt seem to hold a charge well as well tho and in setting it never shows a time since last full charge even though the battery symbol in upper right shows full. I did put new battery in before this as well as changed back housing so i'm got a new battery on the way, then after that i'm all out of ideas. o well upgrade in feb.

Hi I finally can't repair it... But with jailbreakme ( use google ) I could jailbreak and install the wifi sync to connect the iPhone to iTunes..

Hi you can,t restore with wifi sync but can sync with iTunes..

And yes with jailbreakme you only go into the web and just sliding yogur finger in a few seconds you ave the jailbreak
