mine isn't due to screen replacement the corner of my phone has a crack and is displaying the checkered screen and I can't use the touch screen at all it just keeps doing it's own thing when I swipe my finger on it!! can this be fixed or not?? :(

smashed again, sounds like your digitizer/LCD have failed. Check the connectors, make sure they are properly seated and that there are no bend pins. If all of that looks okay, you do want to change the display assembly
