home button dont work after charging port replace and home button flex

hi i replaced the lcd and i transfered the home button with flex to new one and i replace the charging port with and old one i have and now the home button its not working.to work i need to press it hard very hard and it will work 1 to 10.i am wondering if the charging dock has a connector for home button that is damaged beacuse its used and old one or is the flex cable of home button?now i order new one flex cable and charging port to be sure.just wonna know if the charging port has a connector that is for home button
