Dark spots after glass replacement

I recently did a glass replacement for my iphone5. I bought the Loca glue and Uv lamp.I set down the Loca glue on the digitizer and slowly lowered the glass onto the digitizer as seen in youtube videoes. I worked out the bubble and set it under the uv lamp. After 8min i took it out and plugged the screen back in and when it powered on there were some dark spots on the top and side of the screen. To me it looks like i did a half @%^ job and i need to correct this. Should i take it back apart and try it again? Was there something i did wrong? Please help as soon as possible Thankyou!

I have never seen this. It looks like you may have damaged the LCD. they are liquid crystals and u may have moved them around too much to the point they damaged it.

You can ask the guys here they may have more suggestions.http://www.cracknship.com

Yes I know why that happened. After you put on the UV glue it crept behind the back light of the lcd. There are video tutorials on YouTube where the back light is removed with a solder gun and then put back on after curing the lcd. At first I had trouble with this so I began to make a mold out of rv putty around the lcd to prevent the glue from from creeping in. It worked beautifully everytime. If your comfortable with a solder gun, try removing the lcd backlight from the lcd before you do the repair. Good luck.
